A. L. BLACKSMITH

A. L. Blacksmith, an avid reader, is currently an eighteen-year-old student who attends University of New Brunswick for creative writing. When she’s not doing school work, she’s usually found at the academic library in a new spot every day. In espresso-fueled segments, she writes everything from extensive to-do lists to paranoia fiction.

MAN IN THE CAB

OCTOBER 16TH, 2017

Jaxon Dempsey is having an existential crisis. He was laid off of his job of ten years last week, and only yesterday, his fiancee of a year and a half left him hanging at the altar. Desperate to flee his problems, he gets into a cab to go to the airport... only it doesn't take him to the airport. It has a mind of its own, and is going to teach Jaxon a life lesson through whatever means necessary.
